The two things that surprise most families: the gap limit is very generous, and there is no interview. That makes Moldova a realistic option for people who finished school years ago and have been farming, working or running a shop since.
What the course looks like
Most Indian students start with a one-year Russian language course at a government university, then move into their main diploma or bachelor's program. The foundation year matters: it is what lets you follow lectures and, just as important, handle daily life and part-time work.
