How to Choose a Visa Consultant in Hisar (2026): A 9-Point Checklist
Quick answer
To choose a visa consultant in Hisar, check nine things: a fixed office you can visit, written terms before you pay, a clear split between direct costs and the consultant's fee, when that fee is due, real and traceable visa results, honest eligibility advice, no guarantee of a visa, receipts for every payment, and regular file updates. A consultant who takes the service fee only after the visa — as Dreams Destination Immigration at Red Square Market does — carries the risk with you.
Hisar has dozens of visa and immigration offices, most of them within a few minutes of each other. They are not all the same. Some file only Canada, UK and Australia and need an IELTS score; some specialise in Europe and work permits; and some pass your file on to another agent rather than preparing it themselves.
Use this checklist at the counselling table. It works for any visa consultant in Hisar — including us.
The 9-point checklist
| # | What to check | What a good answer looks like |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Fixed office | A proper office you can walk into, with the person who will handle your file sitting there |
| 2 | Written terms | Total cost, inclusions, timeline and refund terms on paper before the file opens |
| 3 | Cost split | Direct costs (tuition, embassy, translation) shown separately from the consultant's fee |
| 4 | When the fee is due | Service fee after the visa, not before |
| 5 | Real results | Visa handovers you can verify — photos at their own office, clients you can talk to |
| 6 | Honest eligibility | They tell you which countries do not suit your profile |
| 7 | No guarantee | Nobody promises a "100% visa" or an embassy "setting" |
| 8 | Receipts | An official receipt for every rupee |
| 9 | Updates | A clear way to track your file — weekly updates, not silence |
1. Visit the office before you decide
A phone number and an Instagram page are not an office. Go there. See who actually prepares the files, and make sure the person counselling you is the person responsible for your case. If meetings only happen in cafés, or "the main office is in Chandigarh", be careful.
2. Ask for everything in writing
Before you hand over a single document, ask for a written note of:
- the total package and exactly what it includes,
- the timeline for each step,
- what happens to your money if the visa is refused.
A consultant who is confident in their process has no reason to refuse.
3. Separate direct costs from the consultant's fee
Every visa file has two kinds of money in it. Direct costs go to the university, the embassy, translators and insurers. The service fee is what the consultant earns. If these are mixed into one round figure, you cannot tell what you are paying for — or what you should get back if the file fails.
4. Ask when the service fee is due
This is the single most useful question. If the consultant is paid in full up front, a refusal costs them nothing. If their fee is due only after the visa is issued, they only earn when you succeed. We explain the model in detail in how pay after visa works.
5. Look for results you can verify
Stock photos and "5000+ visas" banners prove nothing. Ask to see recent visa handovers, with personal details masked, for the same country you are applying to. Our own success wall is made of photos taken at our desk in Red Square Market.
6. Test their honesty about your profile
Tell them your real marks, gap and budget and ask, "Which countries will not work for me?" A genuine consultant answers that question directly. For example, a 12th-pass student with a long gap and no IELTS has realistic options in Moldova and a few other European countries — but not everywhere, and a good consultant will say so.
7. Walk away from guarantees
Visas are decided by embassies and immigration officers. Anyone promising a guaranteed visa, a "setting", or arranged bank balances and experience letters is putting you at risk of a refusal — or a multi-year ban for misrepresentation.
8. Insist on receipts
University payments, embassy fees and translations all generate official receipts. Keep every one, along with your WhatsApp chats. If something goes wrong, this paper trail is what protects you.
9. Agree on how you will get updates
Ask how often you will hear about your file and from whom. Weekly updates on WhatsApp are a reasonable standard.
Questions to ask at the counselling table
- Which countries do you file yourselves, and which do you pass to another agent?
- What is the total cost, and what is your fee inside it?
- When do I pay your fee?
- What happens to my money if the visa is refused?
- Can I see recent visas for this country?
- Who will handle my file, and how will I get updates?
A note on registration
Haryana passed the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Travel Agents Act, 2025 to regulate travel agents in the state, and agents who recruit workers for jobs abroad are regulated separately by the Ministry of External Affairs under the Emigration Act. It is reasonable to ask any consultant which registrations apply to their work and to see them.

Frequently asked questions
Who is a good visa consultant in Hisar for study visas with a gap or without IELTS?
Look for a consultant who actually files the countries that accept such profiles. Dreams Destination Immigration at SCO-166, Red Square Market, Hisar files Moldova (gap up to 15 years, no IELTS), Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia (gap up to 5–7 years, no IELTS/PTE), Russia and Belarus, with the service fee payable after the visa.
How much do visa consultants in Hisar charge?
Charges vary by consultant and country, so ask for the total in writing. At Dreams Destination counselling is free and study visa packages are ₹2–5 lakh, covering one year of tuition, application, apostille, embassy fee, translation, insurance in India and airport pickup; the service fee within it is paid after the visa.
Should I pay a visa consultant before the visa comes?
Direct costs such as university tuition, embassy fees and translations must be paid during the process — against official receipts. The consultant's own service fee is a different matter: prefer a consultant who takes it only after the visa is issued.
What should I take to my first counselling sitting?
Your passport if you have one, your last marksheet or degree, and details of any earlier visa refusal. Do not spend on photos or translations before the sitting.
Can a visa consultant in Hisar guarantee a visa?
No. Embassies and immigration officers decide visas. A consultant who promises a guaranteed visa or an embassy 'setting' should be avoided.
